Freelance Equipment Coordinator

Industrial Color is looking for freelance Equipment Coordinator with experience in hi-volume e-Commerce content production. EQ an integral part of the team, working directly with photographers and producers. Responsibilities focus on assisting photographers, resetting sets, packing gear and checking it upon return. This Freelance EQ position will work in our Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.

Responsibilities

• Support studio needs to ensure that cameras, computers, and other technical needs of the studio are maintained and prepared for photo shoots
• Assist Photographers on set and occasionally on location
• Appropriate interaction with Client and Crew
• Capture One skills are a plus

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience on set
• In depth knowledge of strobe and continuous lighting
• Proficient with lighting techniques
• In depth knowledge of grip
• Mastery of DSLR camera systems
• In-depth knowledge of Mac OS X
• Functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient with Google Suite of Apps
• Takes initiative to find solutions and improve systems of file management and record keeping

Other Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication
• Experience with high volume/eCommerce photography
• Experience with continuous lighting (HMI, tungsten, LED, etc.)
• Experience with Phase One camera systems
• Experience with Asset management

Benefits

The rate for this opportunity is $300 per day.

This is a freelance position based onsite in our Manhattan and Brooklyn Locations.
