Job Description

U.S. Bank’s marketing organization is undergoing an exciting transformation to drive business growth across the company. To help with these efforts, we are seeking a seasoned and strategic Project Manager to spearhead change management initiatives within the Marketing Department focusing on people, processes and technology. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, the role entails ensuring the successful adoption of new processes, standards, and tools across marketing teams. The ideal candidate possesses a robust foundation in project management and marketing, along with the capability to lead cross-functional teams through operational transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of change management projects in marketing.

  • Design and implement change management strategies and communication plans.

  • Partner with marketing leadership to assess impacts and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and alignment.

  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Track milestones, report progress, and measure outcomes.

  • Provide training, resources, and support for teams navigating change.

  • Collaborate on the implementation and roll out of new process and marketer tools, such as Adobe Workfront, ensuring smooth adoption.

Key Collaborators:

  • Process Excellence Manager: Drives process alignment, governance, and continuous improvement.

  • Transformation Program Managers: Leads and manages transformation programs.

  • Marketing Team: Responsible for developing and executing the complete marketing plan.

  • Risk Team: Manages control frameworks, formal process mapping, and system-of-record docs.

  • Marketing Technology Team: Owns work management platforms (e.g., Adobe Workfront).

  • Marketing Service Leads: Oversee support functions and processes that enable end-to-end marketing execution (e.g., creative studio, channels).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 8–10 years of experience in project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in managing marketing change initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of marketing workflows, tools, and best practices.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

  • Skilled in problem-solving, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and platforms.
