Responsibilities
The client is seeking a qualified candidate with 1+ years of experience for a temp-to-perm position to assist in Full Stack Web and Windows development using C#, Angular, and SQL Server. The candidate will be working with Agile principles to develop and support custom software used by the client that supports legislative session and interim activities.
The candidate will work closely with the development team to define and prioritize project work, develop functional software, write automated tests, and support and troubleshoot a variety of applications.
The application team works in an enterprise-wide environment, supporting a wide variety of legacy solutions and new initiatives. One of our initiatives is the modernization of our legacy solutions. A successful team member should be able to:
- Strong web developer with knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Quickly learn the coding environment and applications
- Follow established best practices while also offering new solutions
- Communicate the details of their work and ideas
- Pay close attention to the quality of their coding and testing
This highly critical software team at the client that develops and supports custom software solutions used by clients during the legislative session and the interim. The team develops and supports a suite of mission-critical applications that are used by legislative clients to create, update, and manage their legislative activities for the Texas Legislature.
The team is responsible for a diverse suite of enterprise solutions that support the filing of legislation, legislative processes, chamber activity, and the movement of legislative data and documents. Many of our legacy applications are being updated to a modern web architecture to provide our clients with leading-edge enterprise-level solutions.

**Location of job: Hybrid-4 days remote and 1 day onsite. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX**
