Technology Group

Regional Technology
We are looking for a strong candidate to join our technology group as a Team lead for one of most important offices outside our Singapore Headquarters (HQ). This position is based in our New York office and will report to Head of Regional Technology in Singapore.

What will you do as SVP, Regional Technology (Team Lead)?
- Collaborate with business heads to understand their technology needs and priorities, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
- Head up regional country technology and operational governance on technology, infrastructure, end user computing and technology risks managements (including operations, cybersecurity, control and compliance).
- Act as the primary liaison between local business units and global headquarters, effectively communicating local issues and opportunities to influence strategic decision-making.
- Oversee operational aspects of technology delivery, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively by working with global teams across different time zones.
- Foster a culture of service excellence within the technology team, ensuring technology solutions are designed to meet the needs of the business and enhance user experience.
- Act as Technology Group ambassador and strategically push forth technological solutions/policies which are impactful to regional offices.
- Deliver regional initiatives through collaborations with various Technology teams in HQ and across the Regional Technology Group.
- Leverage a strong technical background in Networks or End User Infrastructure to provide insights and guidance on technology solutions. Aspire to drive a global functional role in their area of expertise.
- Provide leadership to a team of highly motivated staff including mentoring, identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business heads, technology teams, and external partners/vendors, to ensure effective collaboration and communications.
- Drive innovation in the region and continuously improve processes and operations.
- Ensure good asset management practices and carry out budget management and procurement duties.
- Head up change management initiatives related to technology implementations and transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Ensure disaster recovery readiness of IT infrastructure and business continuity management.
What makes you a successful candidate?
- Brings significant leadership experience in IT operations and infrastructure, ideally with 20+ years in progressively senior roles. Must be able to lead highly experienced professionals in a small team and operate with authority and credibility, in a global, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated success influencing across regions and time zones, ideally having worked in a satellite office or in roles where the primary stakeholders or HQ functions were based elsewhere.
- Working knowledge of Network (Cisco), Windows Servers, VMware Virtualization and systems administration, Asset Inventory management, Enterprise Video Conferencing solutioning, Mobile device management.
- Experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Digital workplace innovation and Customer/Employee Experience.
- Strong critical thinking and judgement, continuously improving processes and operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
