Manufacturing Quality Engineer

As Manufacturing Quality Engineer you will be responsible for;

• Context of the project: New launch of high voltage vehicle in the plant of Brampton and responsible for the Quality and Battery Standards
• Day to day activities (concrete examples + pictures, schemas to illustrate the final “product”):
• Set up meetings with resident engineers.
• Do the PFMEA (and reverse PFMEA) for each component (components of the high voltage batteries especially)
• Gather information from the operator regarding each component (the purpose of the quality team is to make sure to control that an operator installs the right part at the right moment)
• Physically go look what is happening on the line and establish reports.

Required Skills;

• Must-haves: Experience of the General Assembly, Experience writing PFMEAs, Reverse PFMEAs, Control Plans, and a good knowledge of Lean Management
• Nice to have: Experience on Team Center
• Tools / software / methodology / certification: Software= Team Center, methodology = lean management
• Soft skills: Autonomous, Able to find the information by himself.
• Seniority level: At least 5 years in general assembly
