Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN)

Overview

NovaCare is seeking a PRN outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Grove City, OH. 

 

Our outpatient center in Grove City, OH is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life and the things they love. 

 

Center specialties include: Ortho, Sports Med, POETS, Neuro, Hand Therapy, Vestibular, Dry Needling, Concussion, Industrial, FCE's and TMJ.  

 

Schedule: Mon, Weds and Thurs (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.) Tues and Fri (7 a.m. - 12 p.m.)

Compensation: $30/Hr. 

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services.
• Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care.
• Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program
• National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Valid state driver’s license
