We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly proficient Accounts Receivable / Banking Officer for a 3-month project-based role, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. This position will support the company's accounts receivable processes and banking operations across ANZ, focusing on Adyen merchant facilities, bank reconciliations, and transaction settlements.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of financial processes, and advanced Excel skills, particularly using vlookup, to manage and reconcile high-volume transaction data.

Key Responsibilities:

Download and review settlement reports from the Adyen portal.
Reconcile Adyen settlement reports with transaction data in Dynamics 365.
Use Excel formulas (especially vlookup) to identify discrepancies between Adyen reports and D365 records.
Settle transactions in Dynamics 365.
Process adjustment journals within D365.
Collaborate with the AR Manager and IT team to investigate and resolve variances.

Requirements:

1–2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
Strong background in bank reconciliations and resolving variances; retail industry experience is a plus.
Practical experience with accounting systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly preferred.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially vlookup, with the ability to analyze large volumes of data.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial processing.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
