- Locate and present suitable properties for the development of "affordable/attainable" rental apartment projects and/or homeownership projects, initially focused in Florida.
- Arrange for and/or conduct market studies and feasibility analyses of the properties selected and surrounding market areas to confirm and support the feasibility of proposed projects.
- Identify and secure (national, state and local) public funding sources designed to support the development of "affordable/attainable" housing including but not limited to grants, equity, interest free or low interest loans, etc.)
- Coordinate and cooperate with the Finance Team other associates at Related and its subsidiaries or affiliates, as may be required in the evaluation analysis, acquisition, sale, development, construction, financing, management, or operation of projects, or in the raising of equity for such projects, as appropriate and/or as Related may desire or direct.
- Prepare the development pro-forma budgets including rental operating budgets and other financial documentation as may be necessary to support the economic feasibility of proposed projects, including any GAP financing sources needed to finance the project and achieve closing as scheduled in the predevelopment schedule.
- Participate in arranging for, coordinating, and supervising the services of lawyers, engineers, architects, designers, surveyors, land planners, and other professionals as may be necessary for the analysis, design, engineering, and construction of proposed projects.
- Participate in selecting, overseeing, and coordinating the services of one or more general contractors as may be required for the development and construction of proposed projects and achieve construction completion as scheduled in the project development schedule.
- Conduct routine market analyses and regularly update the same during the life of the proposed projects.
- Solicit input from TRG Management during the development process and assist them during post-development operation phases to achieve conversion to permanent financing as scheduled in the project development schedule, when necessary.
- Solicit input from the Accounting Team and the Finance Team during the development process to monitor monthly project draws and monthly budget updates and assist them during the construction and project audits process to achieve Project Closeout as scheduled in the Project Development Schedule.
- Report regularly, but no less than bi-weekly, to the President of RUDG, with regard to Participant's duties on each project, or as Related may determine to be appropriate or desirable.
- Supervise and manage the Development Associate(s) assigned to Participant.
- Data Analytics -Through technology, develop and maintain a data warehouse and process to utilize applicable data to create reports to manage the effectiveness, efficiency, construction, leasing and economics of our projects.
- Such other duties as may be necessary and appropriate to advance the interests of Related and its subsidiaries or affiliates.
