Summary:
The Divisional Vice President, Global Strategic Alliances at insightsoftware plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's Partner Influenced and Referral program. This key leadership position involves charting the course for our strategic alliances, specifically focusing on strengthening relationships with ERP partners and Global System Integrators. With a robust team under their guidance, the DVP will lead a team of individual contributors focused on our ERP Alliances, and will drive the overall go-to-market strategy to nurture these vital partnerships to fuel growth and foster incremental business. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence and elevate our global alliance strategy, making it a defining position within our organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partner Relationship Management: Devote a substantial portion of time to proactively nurturing and growing strategic partnerships with ERP partners and Global System Integrators. This includes developing and executing relationship-building strategies to accelerate business growth and ensure annual budget achievement.
- GTM Strategy Development: Spearhead the creation and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. This should encompass market analysis, planning, and implementation, with a focus on partner pipeline development.
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and lead a high-performing team responsible for partner relationship management and GTM strategy execution. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support for team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring optimal performance.
- Program and Initiative Oversight: Develop and oversee the Partner Influenced and Referral program, ensuring that it is operating efficiently and effectively. Implement continuous improvements and refinements as necessary to enhance program performance and drive partner-driven business.
- Alliance and Partnership Expansion: Dedicate time to identifying and onboarding new strategic alliances and partners that align with the company's goals. Develop and nurture relationships with potential partners to expand the ecosystem.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data and analytics to inform and adjust strategies. Regularly assess performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance partnership and GTM effectiveness while tracking progress toward annual budget goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless and effective alignment with partner strategies and initiatives.
- Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to the executive team and stakeholders on the progress and performance of strategic alliances and the Partner Influenced and Referral program. This includes delivering insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
Achievements/Goals within first 6-12 months:
- Recruit, onboard, and enable a new team of ERP Alliance Managers
- Develop and launch a formalized Partner Influenced Program
- Business Unit alignment on ERP Alliance Strategy
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic alliance management, including a demonstrated track record of building and nurturing partnerships in industries relevant to our business.
- 3-5 years of people management experience leading a team of individual contributors, preferably focused on partner/channel alliances.
- Proven expertise in sales and business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in driving revenue growth through partner-driven channels.
- Strong team management experience, cultivating a values-driven, high-performance team culture.
- Financial technology sales experience to mid-size publ
