Pay rate: $47.60 - $67.20/hour

This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. 

Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity. 

Job Overview

The Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects.

Responsibilities

The Pediatric RN works as part of the Outpatient Clinic team to provide care to patients across all of our service lines.  We provide a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in delivery of family patient centered care.  In this position, you'll be responsible and accountable for the care provided to patients in the clinic during each shift. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess patients, plan care, interventions and evaluate outcomes.  You'll work alongside our physician team to assist with procedures and provide patient education.

Qualifications

Education

BSN preferred

 

Certification/Licensure

RN in state of practice

BLS, ACLS, PALS 

 

Skills

Bilingual English/Spanish required 

Must have experience with Pediatric IVs
