About the Role

We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer with a zeal for technology to join our Data Capture Technology team. This team is pivotal in developing applications that capture real-world changes as they happen. We are currently in an exhilarating phase of expanding our data range and modernising our legacy systems.

Your Impact

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance our services to ensure continuous high-level availability and standards for our customers

  • Write code that adheres to best practices, ensuring it is clean, secure, and maintainable, and participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards

Who We Are Looking For

  • A passion for software engineering and adherence to industry best practices, including CI/CD principles, TDD, Agile

  • Experience in developing and supporting applications using both on-premise and cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

  • Proficiency or familiarity with technologies such as C#, Python, Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based technology like Azure

  • Interest or experience in Azure application development, Durable Function Apps, ADO Pipelines, Unit testing, Geospatial technologies (FME/ArcGIS), databases (PostgreSQL/AzureSQL), serverless architecture, test automation, monitoring, and observability is beneficial

  • Salary – £37,511 to 44,130 (dependent on experience)
