Engineer Senior / Engineer Principal – MBSE Engineer

 

What You’ll Do:

 

• Perform engineering design and developmental tasks, systems analysis and design, and software and/or hardware development, individual component level, sub-system level to system level test and integration, etc. for all phases, systems, programs and/or products from less complicated, single focus activities to extremely complex and highly diverse activities to include Model Based System Engineering.
• May work in any of the multiple engineering or technical fields of specialty.
• May participate in or lead teams in the design, development, and execution of innovative research projects.

• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

 

What You’ll Need:

 

• Engineer Senior - BS/BA degree or higher in Engineering or a related field is required plus 8 or more years related experience.
• Engineer Principal - BS/BA degree or higher in Engineering or a related field is required plus 12 or more years related experience.
• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
• A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

• Experience working with Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) data on the Enterprise Workstation (EWS) and Processing and Display Subsystem - Migration (PDS-M) preferred.
• Experience with the NORAD/NORTHCOM ITW/AA mission and systems preferred.
• Experience with Non-Traditional Data sources to include Ballistic Missile Communication Node (BCN), Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Communications Network (GCN), Missile Defense System (MDS), and Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) preferred.
• Experience with MBSE tools, specifically Cameo and DOORS preferred.
• Experience with Modeling and Simulation preferred.

 

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
