We are looking for a commercially driven Billing Specialist (Embedded Networks) to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for ownership of timely and accurate billing of Embedded Network utility services This role provides a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the renewable energy market, whilst providing exceptional services to our embedded network clients.

As a Billing Specialist (Embedded Networks) with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:

• Lifecycle billing, including first bills, routine-bills, exception bills, and final bills for customers inside Embedded Networks. This includes electricity (SME and C&I) and other utility services such as hot water, gas, or air conditioning

• Reviewing and verifying meter data to ensure accurate billing and working with meter data teams to resolve discrepancies or issues identified related to meter readings or usage data

• Preparing billing reports, account summaries, and financial data for internal stakeholders and analysing billing data for trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement

• Tracking of embedded network sites to ensure Billing and reporting are progressed accurately in a timely manner

• Investigating and resolving disputes raised by customers regarding billing discrepancies or unusual charges

• Timely completion of bill runs for EN sites and EN Billing Dashboard preparation

• Ownership of guides and processes for embedded network billing.

• Incorporating EN specific billing practices in to existing billing procedures and guidelines, adhering to energy industry rules and regulations

• Ensuring products are updated and checked as part of the pricing review process

• Identifying and implementing improvements to billing procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer experience

You will be successful in the role if you possess:

• At least 1 year or more experience in utility billing

• Experience in meter data management and billing of electricity customers inside embedded networks preferred

• Experience in meter data management and billing of gas and hot water customers inside embedded networks preferred

• Experience in meter data management and billing of other utility services and distributed energy resources, such as EV charging or telecommunications preferred

• Experience in data management and reporting highly desirable
