Clinical Exercise Physiologist
LCMC HealthAbout the role
Your job is more than a job.
Why a Great Place to Work
You’re more than your job. Everyone is. And that’s what makes you great at your job—all the little extras you bring to work every day, the things that make you you. At LCMC Health we value those things about you, because we know that all those little extras add up to extraordinary. And we’ve built a culture that supports and celebrates the extraordinary. You’ll see it when you come to work here, in the spirit of our places and the faces of our people. And every patient we heal, every family we comfort, every life we improve is the outcome of countless little extras adding up to an extraordinary result. Join LCMC Health, and you’ll find that our everyday makes it easy to live your extraordinary.
As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, no two days and no two patients are alike. You champion multiple patients as they begin their cardiac rehabilitation. Planning, organizing, and conducting inpatient and outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise therapy and education programs, you adhere to specific guidelines of the American Heart Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the Cardiopulmonary Services. Leading group exercise classes, you encourage, comfort, and ready your patients to live their best life following cardiac surgery. You celebrate the ordinary, because in the world of cardiac rehabilitation, every step is an extraordinary milestone for your patient.
And while you focus on your patient’s “extraordinary”, we focus on giving you the tangible and intangible resources that foster the “little something extras” you need to amplify your impact and career growth. It’s your journey, too, and we’re here to help you along the way as well.
Your experiences, knowledge, skills, empathy, compassion, and personality, all of it adds up to you. And we’re excited to get to know you and find out what you will bring to this clinical exercise rehabilitation role.
