What you will do:
Under general direction, responsible for the service & repair, configuration, and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and other low voltage control sub-systems (i.e., lighting, data networks, etc.) to meet the intent of the customers and JCI goals. Accountable for quality, timeliness and efficiency of service repairs. Develops complex software programs, commissioning and solving to ensure proper operations of the building control system. Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Sales and Service team and subcontractors. Analyzes team performance and recommends changes to ensure profitability, safety, and client satisfaction. Maintains customer satisfaction while balancing financial goals. Ensures safety compliance.
How you will do it:
- Supervises and provides leadership for assigned Teams. Ensure developmental plans are in place.
- Leads execution efforts of assigned business. Ensures consistency of delivery systems. Monitors and tracks the business plans.
- Collaborate with sales to ensure all sales opportunities are supported including linkage to installation opportunities.
- Advances potential market opportunities to the attention of the appropriate branch or region resource for strategic direction.
- Ensures that serviced account portfolios achieve growth, proper profit levels and customer satisfaction.
- Recommends and supports staffing requirements for the assigned business. Serves as a communication channel to share the standard methodology strategies and results enables SSNA vision.
- Implements plans to comply, and monitors standards for HVAC operations. Audits the effectiveness of operations and makes changes to improve performance.
- Ensures customer satisfaction is achieved 100% of the time.
- Ensures a consistent level of coaching, which includes monthly one on one(s), operational and financial reviews.
- Works with team leaders to ensure proper workforce and skill levels for the successful and profitable execution of the business.
- Performs other duties related to customer satisfaction, deployment of critical initiatives to teams, development and maintenance of team business plans and account management of service customers.
- Designs, configures and services technically complex building control systems for the customers facility.
- Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
- Develops and tests software programs necessary to operate the system per the customer's facility requirements.
- Coordinates and creates necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals, service and/or installation.
- Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned jobs. Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.
- Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
- Provides field change information to the team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
- Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues. Assists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.
