Do you have a passion for sustainability? Do you want to help conserve water - one of the world’s most valuable natural resources? Badger Meter is the company for you! We are searching for a Sales Support Representative to join our team in our Nashville, TN location.

We are looking for a someone who thrives in a fast pace, collaborative environment and enjoys customer service. In this position you will have the chance to learn more about the technical aspects of Badger Meter products lines all while supporting our customers and internal account managers. This could be anywhere from researching new products to building and continuing positive relationships with our current customers. We are willing to train the right person for this position!

Job Duties:
 

• Support customers, account managers & field support specialists.
• Work to find quick solutions with customers on inquiries (phone, email, fax etc.)
• Provide and negotiate pricing of products over the phone
• Assist in updating bids to confirm correct account maintenance is listed in Salesforce
• Monitor customer quotes and work with account managers to ensure correct price increases
• Communicate with customers and help them utilize entire budgets for their fiscal year
• Development opportunities to expose customers to BEACON (Cellular, fixed, mobile solutions, etc.) with prospective and new customers.
• Collaborate with branch managers to help maintain correct minimum balance levels for inventory in distribution warehouses and sell returned products.
   

Qualifications:
 

• High School Degree required
• 3+ years of related experience
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Software
• Salesforce (CRM) experience preferred
• Drives to provide best in class customer service to both internal and external customers
• Direct or indirect sales experience preferred
• Manufacturing or distribution knowledge and experience preferred

The target pay range for this role is $25-$28/hr
