Aircraft Parts Support - MKC

Airshare is hiring a Aircraft Parts Support person for our MKC location.  The Parts Support will maintain AirShare Parts Department in accordance with FAA Part 135 and 145 guidelines, including tracking of all life limited parts. They will procure and maintain parts, materials, and services as required for all supported aircraft.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
•Maintain a set level of parts and consumables in inventory so as to not impede production.

•Procure parts, materials and services as required to support maintenance.

•Support aircraft maintenance with parts, materials, and services for normal activities and unscheduled maintenance including after hours and AOG events.

•Ensure parts and materials with life limits are monitored with correct data and expired itemsquarantined for proper disposal.

•Provide proper storage of and assist in coordinating calibration of precision tooling asapplicable.

•Maintain hard-copy/electronic files for retrieval of traceability documentation of all materials,parts.

•Maintain and verify accurate inventory count.

•Track cores due.

•Process rotable cores correctly and return to vendor promptly.

•Responsible for shipping or coordinating shipment of parts/tooling to other locations including unscheduled AOG events.

•Perform pickup/delivery of parts and tooling.

•Responsible for maintaining On Site Stock and/or Consignment inventory.

•After-hours call outs to support AOG events.

•Accomplish other duties as directed.

The qualified candidate will have previous experience with aviation part procurement and working knowledge of MS Office and Corridor.  Must have a valid driver's license and ability to work alone with minimal supervision.  Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.  This position is  10:30 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, with on-call duties after hours and weekends.
