Job Description
- Customer and Production interface
- Responsibility for team execution of order entry and fulfillment management utilizing MRP SAP, inventory management for components and finished goods to meet defined targets.
- Develop short- and long-term cross-functional strategies for all inventory types and production support
- Manage assigned group and monitor performance, tasks and workflows.
- Develop programs and procedures to enhance productivity and performance.
- Serve as the liaison between global functions as well as cross functional plant departments
- Establish effective communication Protocols.
- Implement continuous improvement ideas to gain efficiencies and make data transparent.
- Create and monitor KPI’s for Customer and inventory and, Customer related KPI’s.
- Serves as a first level escalation for all supplier related topics at Fountain Inn and communicates supplier escalations and complaints to management in a clear, concise manner.
- Work closely with other Logistics and cross functional Managers to avoid internal Production and customer line interruptions
- Determine, evaluate and update proper SAP planning parameters to meet requirements and targets.
- Work in a team oriented environment with close interaction with global partners, Management, Engineering, Sales planning, Customer support, Purchasing, Production and related Logistics functions.
- Carry out manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BS degree in supply chain or related field preferred, 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning (incl MRP) required.
- Significant experience and expertise in Customer management and relations
- Significant experience and expertise across professional disciplines within material management functions in a materials managerial role
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset and communication (verbal and written).
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
- Candidate should have a proven track record of improving departmental KPI's/deliverables
- Detail oriented, organized with excellent time management and follow up skills
Expert level in SAP/MM (additionally SD and PP proficiency)
