A Day in the Life

The Senior Advanced Data Analyst is responsible for sustainability performance measurement across energy, carbon, water and waste, and providing analytics support, to the sustainability team. This position manages the accuracy of our methods & data frameworks and performs data quality assurance to ensure compliance with incoming sustainability regulations.

The ideal candidate brings technical expertise summarizing data sources and visualizations to support sustainability program progress. The candidate demonstrates abilities to work independently across the multiple functions to make advancements and achieve results.

This role can be based at any US location with a preference for CA and Mountain Time locations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for calculation emissions, waste, and water totals for multiple functions and at the site-level

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to ensure accurate calculations. Address and identifies anomalies in data.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end users/customers

  • Summarize data in a visually appealing and intuitive manner for effective communication

  • Demonstrate ownership and independence in managing projects and meeting deadlines

  • Contribute to the overall sustainability by coordinating project-based reductions across multiple functions

  • Review capital / OPEX budgets for these projects in order drive meaningful results

  • Identify data relationships and dependencies to enhance accuracy of calculations

  • Manage enterprise GHG inventory (Scopes 1, 2 & 3) according to GHG Protocol; support third-party verification

  • Create and maintain dashboards for environmental sustainability performance

  • Support global sustainability goals (zero waste, carbon reduction, water stewardship, circularity)

  • Lead preparation of sustainability disclosures aligned with GRI, ISSB/IFRS, SASB, TCFD, CDP, CSRD/ESRS, and SBTi

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of environmental compliance or sustainability program management OR advanced degree and 2+ years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree (Master’s preferred) in Environmental Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field, with relevant professional certifications (e.g., CEM, LEED, CEP, ENV-SP)

  • Expertise in data analytics tools and programming (Power BI, Python, R, Watershed, etc.)

  • In-depth knowledge of global regulations (EU CSRD, CARB SB253) and experience in multinational operations and supply chain

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and compliance skills; able to manage complex, cross-functional projects across time zones

  • Excellent communicator and influencer; proactive, self-motivated, and effective at balancing strategic vision with hands-on problem-solving
