Quality Control Intern (Potential to Become Permanent Role)

Our Company:  BCI BRANDS distributes Vince Camuto, CECE, 1-State, and designs, manufactures, and markets women's apparel. The company offers blouses, jackets, tops, skirts, sweaters, and printed maxi dresses.  

Reports to:  QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the tech design team
• Sample tracking and processing incoming sample packages
• Observe the process from top of production (TOP) to shipping production
• Work directly with quality control manager
• Creating and maintaining stock orders/reports
• Maintain shipping calendars
• Organizing and prepping stock samples for fitting
• Maintain excel workbooks
• Assist with fittings and any prep required
• Adhere to deadlines
• Multitask several projects and tasks simultaneously
• Assist in overall office organization
• Daily follow up with overseas factories
• Daily Follow up with warehouses
• Work with multiple departments at once, such as:
• Design
• Sales
• Production
• Customer ops
• Logistics

Requirements

• Knowledge of design concept/ garment construction is a plus
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing and quality assurance a plus
• Must be able to commit to at least 5 days a week, but if the candidate happens to be in school and cannot provide 5 days a week, we are open to accommodate to 3-4 days

• Detail oriented with strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel
• Very capable in assisting with multiple projects/deadlines/ongoing tasks simultaneously 
• Be willing to learn more!

This internship role is offering an hourly rate of $16/hour. For the right candidate, there is a huge change this could become a permanent role. We'd love to have you join our team!
