We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in AWS Serverless Technologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize serverless applications, leveraging modern cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java-based frameworks and AWS services to create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions.

 

What you'll be doing

 

• Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge

What you'll bring along

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java 8+
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3)
• Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK for infrastructure as code
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or similar certification
Experience with other AWS services such as SNS, SQS, and Kinesis
Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
