About the role

As a Sr Pricing Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to review and summarize Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Statements of Work (SOW) requirements to ensure our submittals are compliant with government contracting regulations. You will be assisting with maintaining a schedule for current and upcoming proposal activity, ensuring timely delivery of proposals to our customers, developing Cost Volumes in accordance with both RFP and FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) conditions, and reviewing all internal pricing inputs. You'll uphold our rationale for and ensure adherence to approved labor categories and non-labor accounts.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will lead the performance of the Cost Estimating and Pricing functions during the proposal life-cycle, to include large, strategic, competitive, commercial, and sole source proposals, ROMs and program change orders.
- Participates in proposal kick-off meetings, clearly defining pricing requirements/schedule, holding pricing kickoff meetings and actively follows up with team regarding proposal pricing progress to ensure accurate and timely submission of a proposal.
- Experience in advanced pricing methodologies and analysis methods such as rate analysis, Price to Win (PTW), analysis of reasonableness and realism, data driven estimating, Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), etc.
- Candidate should be a proactive contributor to proposal team, communicating issues/schedule slips as they arise to ensure proposals stay on schedule and maintains accuracy.
- Works closely with Contracts Manager to facilitate proposal approval process via ECRM and communicates progress.
- Provides pricing fact finding and negotiations support as needed.
- Supports internal/external DCMA/DCAA audits as needed.
- Provides back up support/mentoring to Pricing team members.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Prior experience interpreting considerable data of a technical/programmatic nature
- Thorough Understanding of research and analysis methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
- Experience with ProPricer or other Pricing software.
- Strong time management and organization skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proposal leadership experience.
- Government contracting experience.
- Experience analyzing large data sets.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, and make decisions quickly and effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and environments.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of FAR, FAR Supplements, CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) and Government pricing
- Self-starter and a problem solver; must have the ability to see the big picture and implement changes as required
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both internal and external teams at all levels, including senior leadership in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
