Job Description

As the Director DaaS Engineering - Business Intelligence and Analytics, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our DaaS offerings. You will lead a team of skilled professionals to deliver actionable insights, drive data-driven strategies, and support decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for our Data as a Service business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to deliver high-quality data products and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, define KPIs, and develop data-driven solutions.
• Oversee the design and implementation of data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, Postgres, MS SQL, MySQL, etc.
• Evaluate, select, and implement BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc., to visualize and communicate insights effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, governance, and security standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 15 years or more in a leadership role overseeing business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering teams.
• Strong technical expertise in databases (Snowflake, MS SQL, MySQL), ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (optional but advantageous).

The average base salary pay range for this role is between $190,000-$215,000 USD

May be considered for a discretionary bonus
