We are looking for you to join our team as a Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Software Engineer. This role is located in Orlando, FL.
What You'll get to Do:
- The Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Software Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and secure software systems based upon documented requirements.
- This person will be responsible for working individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- The team is seeking a talented engineer who resolves software problem reports, utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- The successful candidate shall have experience with creating specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/ Government Off-the Shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
This requisition is open as a dual level opportunity. We will consider candidates at a Level 3 and Level 4:
Basic Qualifications:
- Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with 5 years of experience / 3 years with Masters / 0 with PhD
- Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with 9 years of experience / 7 years with Masters / 5 Years with PhD
- Active Interim Clearance required to start. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
- Demonstrated experience developing software using Java, Rust, C, C++, C#, or Python
- Demonstrated experience with debugging existing software and correcting defects
- Demonstrated experience with the SDLC and agile methodologies
- Development experience in Linux environment, preferably RHEL
- Experience developing for resource constrained environments such as embedded or Single Board Computer (SBC) environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience developing Multi-Level Security (MLS) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) applications
- Experience with implementing NSA Raise the Ba
