The Senior Manager, Planning & Logistics at our St. Louis TTH Manufacturing Site is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics and production planning functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and management of logistics activities, as well as the development and implementation of production schedules according business demand and site capacity. The Senior Manager will lead a team of professionals, collaborate with various departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and meet organizational goals.

Your key responsibilities
• Develop and implement logistics and production planning strategies to support business objectives
• Oversee the management of inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics and production planning professionals.
• Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members
• Conduct regular quality & safety audits and training sessions for the team (ISO9.001, ISO 14.001, 45.001, FSSC)

You bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Planning, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) are preferred
• Proficient in logistics and production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP, MRP, WMS).
• Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
