About the role
This is a remote position.
Job Highlights:- Contract: Independent Contractor
- Permanent work from home
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (40 hours per week)
- AEST work hours
Job Description:
• Record the financial transactions in Xero
• Manage all accounts payable
• Enter and processing all bills
• Prepare batches for payment of bills
• Manage Westpac transfers
• Manage all processes - invoicing, remittances, applying credits and debits
• In charge of reconciliation of all accounts receivable on a monthly basis
• Responsible for NDIS invoicing including management of participant funds and reconciliation
• Ensure all participants are in PRODA and funds are being properly allocated
• Manage bill payments including accommodation bills and rentals
• Follow up overdue payments
• Handle bank reconciliation
• Importing statements from Westpac, reconciling all credit
cards once receipts have been uploaded
• Prepare reports on expenditure
• Make sure all accounts processes and procedures are managed accordingly
with ATO regulations and standards
• Provide data and figures at any given time when needed
• Responsible for regular auditing of timesheets and ensuring it is aligned with the relevant awards
• Process fortnightly payroll as well as any ADHOC payments
• In charge of Superannuation Management
• Perform Pay Run reporting to Financial Controller for confirmation before payment
• Export journal from Keypay to Xero
• Check figures and reporting for accuracy
• Report any irregularities in data to management
• Support HR when needed in relation to award interpretation and Fair Work obligations
• Manage and direct income streams and payments
• Support general administration tasks within the office
• Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct
• Complete any other additional work related request for other entities related to the business

Requirements
- Australian Accounting experience is important
- Communication – The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience

- Over 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in Xero
