DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Estimator to join a dynamic team in the Charlotte, NC. area.

Salary: $75K - $90K
Schedule: M - F, 7am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire estimating process for projects involving light gauge steel construction
Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for light gauge steel projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify scope, risks, and potential impacts
Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate quotes, and negotiate contracts
Mentor, guide, and oversee the performance of other estimators, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards
Manage the bid solicitation process, including preparing bid documents and coordinating with the project team
Monitor project costs and ensure they stay within budget, identify potential cost savings, and assist in developing cost-reduction strategies
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to light gauge steel construction
Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and other regulatory requirements
