DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Estimator to join a dynamic team in the Charlotte, NC. area.
Salary: $75K - $90K
Schedule: M - F, 7am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire estimating process for projects involving light gauge steel construction
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for light gauge steel projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify scope, risks, and potential impacts
- Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate quotes, and negotiate contracts
- Mentor, guide, and oversee the performance of other estimators, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards
- Manage the bid solicitation process, including preparing bid documents and coordinating with the project team
- Monitor project costs and ensure they stay within budget, identify potential cost savings, and assist in developing cost-reduction strategies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to light gauge steel construction
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and other regulatory requirements
- 8+ years of estimating experience with drywall and IMP/ACM projects
