What You’ll Be Doing:

In addition to helping Lilly deliver lifesaving medicines, you will work in key business areas using many of the technology capabilities outlined below:

• Cloud Engineering - Cloud architecture defines a network of interconnected components

covering applications, services, data, and infrastructure.

• Data Engineering, Data Science & Machine Learning - Develop, deploy, and use advanced data/algorithm

capabilities that empower decision-making across the company

• Digital Product Operations - Deploy and support the digital elements that enable our molecules,

devices, apps, algorithms, and data

• Cyber Security - People-centric, secure, vigilant, and resilient, capabilities that protect

information, products, and systems enabling Lilly to deliver on its mission.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Be Bold - We are looking for an innovator to tackle tough challenges in enabling Lilly Manufacturing and Quality (MQ) organization to unleash the power of Data.
  • Be Fast - We need someone who is willing to have an agile mindset and innovate/deliver at the pace of MQ and the Growth of the organization.
  • Be Engaging - We need a technologist who will engage with the entire IT MQ organization, to bring the best solution, to solve business problems. The technologist will help support, maintain and improve the data architecture, data and analytics platforms and the solutions delivered to the business.

What You Should Bring:

  • Hands on experience with Large Language Models and unstructured and structured data analytics
  • Experience with AI, Deep Learning, GenAI, and Vision Analytics.
  • Experience in following tools:

Cloud: AWS or Azure

Analytics/Visualization: PowerBI

Coding: R, Python, C++/Java

  • Knowledge of DevOps, Data Ops and ML Ops
  • Knowledge of end-to-end Data Management concepts such as data lakehouse, ingestion pipelines, data catalogue, data lineage, data visualization, sematic modelling, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering/Technology, Information Technology, Security, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of Data Science experience, including experience with Large Language Models and unstructured and structured data analytics.

Additional Preferences:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering/Technology, Information Technology, Security, or another relevant field.
  • Knowledge of Pharma and Manufacturing a plus
  • Solid skills in problem analysis and problem solving.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven teamwork/interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom or industry
  • Familiarity with design, development, and operational methodologies (I.e. Agile, Waterfall, ITIL)
  • Passion for working on a team from diver
