Part Time Security Officer - Franklin, MA

 

Shift: Part-Time, Saturday & Sunday 12am-8am

Location: Franklin, MA 

Rate: $18.60 / hour 

 
 

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to work at our client site in Franklin, MA. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This is a high-profile site where strong customer service and professionalism are essential.

 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access

• Conduct regular patrols of buildings and grounds

• Observe and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity

• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures

• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents promptly and effectively

• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors

• Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels

• Write accurate and detailed incident and shift reports

• Collaborate with site management and emergency personnel as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

• CPR, First Aid, or other safety-related certifications

• Familiarity with access control and surveillance systems
