Description

The Anchorage Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role as the lead administrative support for the Service Center Manager. This multifaceted position involves administrative tasks, on and offboarding of personnel, project support, collaborating with project teams, and managing the regional training program to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and abide by safety program requirements.
  • Provides general clerical and administrative support to the Service Center Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
  • Assists in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of industrial services projects on an administrative level. Collaborates with project managers and teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assists in the preparation of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes. 
  • Coordinates resources, equipment, and materials for projects on behalf of the Service Center Manager, ensuring timely availability and allocation to meet project needs.
  • Supports quality control measures and helps to ensure projects meet established quality standards and client requirements.
  • Maintains comprehensive personnel training records, including trackers, attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
  • Tracks, schedules, and coordinates personnel training and medical monitoring.
  • Performs employee on/offboarding tasks and facilitates new employee orientation.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement within project coordination and training management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience with 2 years in a senior administrative position; Industrial services experience preferred.
  • Experience in tracking and scheduling training and medical monitoring.
  • Strong computer skills
  • experience with Unanet or Paylocity project management/Human Resources software systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana.
  • Ability to pass government background checks for federal and client installation access.
  • Driver's License.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00- $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
