Financial Analyst FP&A - Global Specialty Business

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director Corporate FP&A, this role will be responsible for supporting financial planning activities such as budget and forecasting, expense analysis, as well as report consolidation as needed. They will work closely with Regional and Corporate Controllers, as well as Business leaders to help develop and maintain financial reporting and analysis. Through reporting and analysis of financial results, this position will help ensure spend is prioritized within strategic priorities, enables business leaders to be agile in how they fund necessary investments, and ensures enterprise-wide clarity on financial results and budgets.
Job Accountabilities:
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis activities, ensuring data is provided to help aide data driven decision making.
- Provide timely analysis and prepared insights to best position the business team to drive profitable growth and to deliver on annual targets
- Support the businesses annual budget and rolling forecasts, including relevant financial analysis around expenses, and sales and margins if applicable. Simplify approach where possible, while still maintaining planning accuracy and integrity. Support business leaders to work with the standardized tools and systems to deliver respective plans.
- Prepare and deliver ongoing and action oriented financial analysis, leading to improved financial performance of the Business.
- Continually provide input for opportunities for improvement and align with global approach/processes when feasible.
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual reporting process for business performance, as well as final reporting and analysis for the Executive Leadership Team.
- Assists in the preparation of the quarterly business results, including a standardized slide pack of financials that is reviewed by executive leadership.
- Assist with overall analysis and preparation of materials to support the Company’s financial presentations to the board
- Assist with special projects as needed.

Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies:
Key Education or Certification Required
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in accounting, finance
Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience
2+ years of work experience including financial analysis, preferably in serving key business leaders. Experience in manufacturing or chemicals industry a plus
