About the role

Under general supervision, maintains a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors and employees. May be required to provide assistance in patient restraints in the age groups of adolescents, young, middle and older adults, by following the direction of the nurse in charge.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
California Security Guard Registration upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Either Recent Public Safety (aka Security) or Military experience if Honorably Discharged.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
