TxDOT’s San Antonio District is hiring a General Transportation Technician based in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve Texas highways by operating equipment, supporting maintenance projects, and ensuring our roadways remain safe and reliable for the traveling public.

Annual Salary Ranges
General Transportation Tech II (A17): $42,976- $64,469
General Transportation Tech III (A18): $45,521- $71,055
This position is for some General Transportation Tech II or III depending on business need and applicant's qualifications. TxDOT reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on business needs and the applicants work experience, education, skill level and all other appropriate factors.
