Quality Control Technician

Job Purpose

Inspection and testing of Raw Materials used and Finished Goods produced at the Houston. 

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions: Percent Of Time

• Participate and contribute in Health & Safety, Security and Environmental activities (SAFE Meetings, BBS Observer, HS&E Training, Housekeeping, 5S, Recycling, Waste Management, etc.)    15%
• Finished Goods and Raw Material Inspection and Testing    65%
• ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Tasks that are secondary to the completion of the essential functions – those that could be performed by other workers.

Secondary Functions: Percent Of Time

• Lab Support (re-stocking of supplies, equipment calibration, recording of results, KPI’s, etc.)    5%
• Complaint Investigation    5%
• Product Recertification 5%
• Other duties as assigned 5%

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a coating factory or R&D environment will be considered.
• Laboratory testing skills
• Computer data entry skills 
• Problem-solving and analysis skills

Total Compensation

• The hourly range for these skills is $25/hr. + 4% annual bonus.
