About the role

Pendulum is on a mission to help people improve physical and mental health by creating a new category of products that target the microbiome. We are researching, developing and commercializing a novel class of rationally-designed Live Synbiotics (probiotics + prebiotics) that have demonstrated clinical efficacy to treat conditions like metabolic syndrome, inflammation and neurodegeneration. 
Pendulum has created proprietary pipelines to build a unique discovery platform that identifies key, novel bacterial strains and the prebiotics that feed them.

Pendulum is seeking a Healthcare Growth Associate to support our expanding Healthcare Revenue Team who’s excited and ready to hit the ground running to contribute to Pendulum’s aggressive growth goals. Reporting to the Senior Healthcare Growth Manager, this individual will be responsible for obtaining revenue goals through execution of awareness-building programs for the healthcare community (webinars, conferences, etc), supporting the development of healthcare provider education on the Pendulum product portfolio, driving outbound sales efforts, and streamlining product adoption in this channel. This role requires travel for customer meetings, conferences and events. 

Responsibilities

  • Obtain HCP revenue targets by successfully supporting the execution of strategic engagements with key opinion leaders (webinars, conference collaborations, podcasts, etc) to drive healthcare customer acquisition
  • Assist the Healthcare Revenue team with conference coordination, delivering and reporting on conference-associated revenue goals
  • Support Senior Healthcare Growth Manager on execution of new channel launches and day to day needs for performance channels (paid social, newsletters, direct mail, etc.)
  • Work closely with Senior Healthcare Account Manager to optimize scaleable outbound sales strategy and execution
  • Collaborate with in-house creative team on marketing asset development including but not limited to sales aids, conference collateral, presentations, white papers, case studies, blog posts, email communication, and website copy
  • Partner with the Healthcare Revenue, R&D and Clinical teams to elevate HCP content development for inclusion in HCP resources, educational programming, marketing materials, ads, etc. to drive increased recurring revenue through each healthcare customer.
  • Vet new articles and publications for inclusion in Pendulum’s HCP resources to seed the market with data that will enable future growth of Pendulum’s serviceable available market
  • Assist on data needs and reports with marketing analytics team

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in educational program development or growth marketing in the healthcare industry, startup experience in the health and wellness category a plus but not required
  • Experience working with creative teams to develop assets
  • Experience working with project tracking software such as Asana, Jira, Trello, or Monday.com 
  • Proficient scientific and clinical understanding of microbiome science
  • Proven track record of executing revenue-driving business activities and achieving targets
  • Healthcare credential preferred (RD, RN, etc)
  • Strong personal and professional drive to get things done
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multi tasking ability
  • Strong communication skills actively contributing ideas, energy and desire to succeed as a team
  • Ability to change information into insights for actionable growth and sales
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative sensibility
  • A true "Team Player" who can work cross-functionally to achieve results
  • Ability to make day to day decisions without direction
