Base Pay: $23.75/hr

The Warehouse Shift Lead is responsible for managing an extensive range of warehouse activities, including overall warehouse organization, shipping finished goods and receiving functions utilizing WMS and maintaining inventory and records. The ideal candidate should feel at ease undertaking duties related to managing personnel (hourly and loading services), which encompasses training tasks, orchestrating and distributing daily assignments, as well as addressing and resolving issues. In this role, prioritizing in/out-bound loading to ensure a continuous flow of finished goods with the Transportation Department, and eliminating errors in shipment through accurate cycle counting and row audits will be required.

• Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.

Job specific interactions, but not limited to:

• Managing daily activities with Warehouse Associates
• Supporting day-to-day operations with Warehouse Coordinator
• Supporting day-to-day operations and customer support with Transportation Specialist
• Supporting day-to-day operations and customer support with Inventory Specialist
• Supporting day-to-day operations with Shift Supervisor
• Supporting onsite support with Third-Party Suppliers and Contractors

Shift Information: Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm-1:30 am 

• Overtime possible as schedule is work until completion
• Saturday overtime possible with advance notice

Work Environment: Distribution Center in Whiteland IN

• The job is within a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future 
• Required to lift heavy materials, stand, squat and bend with or without reasonable accommodations
• 1 or more years of experience in a leadership role in supply chain or manufacturing environment (up to 20 employees)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong inventory background
• Previous analytical experience
