YOUR ROLE
Responsible for performing in-depth business analytics and financial modelling to evaluate strategic opportunities. Assist business leader in critical business decision making by providing value added data and actionable managerial reports. Serve as an important member for the finance community by assisting in monthly financial reviews, financial planning forecasting and budgeting. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Develop and maintain operation finance database and ensure data is reliable, consistent and accurate.
- Design, standardize and roll out actionable managerial reports to business, based on database information.
- Ensure financial data and operating data are reconciled on weekly/monthly basis.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including account reconciliation and analysis and preparation of various schedules, including operations statistics and revenue and cost analysis across 100+ business units and 5+ sub-products.
- Lead the budget and forecast consolidation across all business units and sub-products.
- Provide analysis on costs and modelling the network cost optimization
- Other ad-hoc financial and business analytics
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Master’s Degree in Finance or Mathematics.
• Minimum five years’ experience in modelling (financial, cost or general data modelling) or financial planning and analysis.
• Knowledgeable in US GAAP and have an understanding of IFRS.
• Expert in MS Excel and Access an advanced proficiency in data base programing (e.g. SQL).
• Experience in ERP system (e.g. Oracle, JD Edwards) and consolidation system (e.g. Hyperion).
Characteristics:
• Ability to translate data analytics into business language.
• Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
