Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pulmonary Hypertension and Critical Care Physician with an interest in Cardiovascular Critical Care to practice at Intermountain Medical Center, the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health.- Practice location: Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, Utah
- Diverse clinical role incorporating pulmonary hypertension clinic, procedural time, and ICU coverage
- 0.3 FTE Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic (approximately 548 hours annually; averaging 1.5 clinic days per week)
- 0.6 FTE Coronary ICU (CICU) coverage, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays (1,095 hours annually; equivalent to approximately 9 ICU weeks per year, including 30-night shifts annually)
- 0.1 FTE Right Heart Catheterization Procedural Time (182 hours annually; averaging ½ day per week)
Competitive Compensation: $491,750.00 annual salary
Incentives: $30,000 starting bonus, and up to $20,000 relocation assistance and $75,000 student loan repayment (if applicable)
What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency training in Internal Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
