N2 Licensed Operator - Day Shift

Well, then Handex might be for you! We are currently seeking N2 Wastewater Licensed Operators to service our client in Chester New Jersey.

As the N2 Licensed Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and overall performance of various types of process equipment and systems at n environmental remediation/superfund job site.

What will be my responsibilities and objectives:

· The N2 Licensed Operator will work day shift to operate, inspect, adjust, and monitor process equipment, meters, gauges, and controls to detect problems and to maintain proper levels of operation and systems performance.

· Communicates daily with clients, regulatory personnel, subordinates, peers, and supervisors.

· Collect samples and test water, wastewater and industrial wastewater samples.

· Oversee and/or perform process control testing and field testing of water. Record and adjust pH levels, process chemicals, including flocculants and coagulants, using mixers, pumps, and metering devices.

· Perform preventative maintenance using hand tools, power tools and/or precision equipment in accordance with O&M guidelines and requirements.

· Ensure the treatment system is operating within compliance.

· Demonstrate equipment operations and procedures to employees as needed.

· Perform work as a team lead to ensure compliance with work orders, the direction of the Project Manager, and to help keep tasks on schedule.

· Keep job sites neat, clean and free of debris.

· Follow all Company Standard Operating & Safety Procedures for field work.

Requirements

Requirements and skills needed for success:

· High school diploma/GED required and New Jersey N2 Operator License required.

· 7+ years of Waste Water Operator experience.

· 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and TWIC Card preferred. Will be required to obtain.

· Required to walk and stand for extended periods of time, work sometimes in severe weather conditions and varying locations that may or may not require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work overtime when required.

· Team player with good work ethic and a willingness to travel daily to our client site in Chester, New Jersey.

· Valid driver license in good standing required.

· Ability to pass background checks (drug/alcohol/criminal/DMV) required.
