Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

• Follows procedures needed to maintain, clean and preserve a wide variety of building furniture, fixtures and equipment surfaces.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment and techniques required.
• Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• Adheres strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
• Works in an environment that is fast-paced and high in demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing in all assigned areas.
• Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles.
• Moves furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
• Cleans walls throughout the club as necessary.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms at the Clubhouse, Beach Club, Tennis, Pools and Golf Course; restocks restroom supplies.
• Maintains outside of buildings.  Sweeps the patio area, dusts patio furniture and railings.
• Empties all wastebaskets and takes trash to the dumpsters.
• Buffs floors and shampoos carpets as scheduled.
• Washes and polishes windows.
• Dusts exercise equipment.
• Cleans cigarette containers at entrances.
• Vacuums elevators, cleans stairways and landings; dusts ceiling light fixtures;
• Transports linen to and from the laundry area.
• Constantly protects work-related equipment and checks for inadequacies.
• Checks stocking levels of all consumables, replenishes when and where necessary, and communicates with management for replenishment.
• Notifies management on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Reports damage, burned-out light bulbs, and plumbing problems to management.
• Locks and unlocks assigned buildings; checks for unlocked doors and windows and turns off lights.
• Performs any other reasonable duties as required by management.
