Job Summary

The Procurement & Business Intern will support the procurement and business operations teams with day-to-day activities related to sourcing, vendor management, data analysis, and process improvement. This internship provides hands-on exposure to procurement practices, business strategy, and cross-functional collaboration in a professional corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Support

• Assist in vendor sourcing, supplier onboarding, and quotation comparisons
• Support purchase order creation, tracking, and documentation
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases
• Assist with cost analysis, pricing reviews, and spend tracking
• Support supplier communication and coordination

Business & Operations Support

• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and business dashboards
• Support process improvement initiatives and documentation
• Conduct basic market research and supplier benchmarking
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and meeting materials
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and other business teams as needed

Administrative & Project Tasks

• Maintain organized files, spreadsheets, and compliance documents
• Support procurement and business-related projects as assigned
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications

Required

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred

• Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain concepts
• Experience with data analysis or business reporting
• Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement tools is a plus
