Ogilvy Dublin is seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to join the prestigious VML Marketing Coordinator Program which partners directly with their client Microsoft. This unique opportunity places you directly at the heart of Microsoft's marketing engine, coordinating high-profile events that generate crucial sales leads and drive business objectives on a global scale.
About the VML Marketing Coordinator Program: Join a vibrant, global community of approximately 400 marketing professionals, working and partnering with our client Microsoft on behalf of our sister agency, VML. Our Events expertise group is responsible for the seamless coordination and execution of Microsoft's diverse global and local digital and in-person events.
What You'll Do: As our Events Marketing Coordinator, you will be the go-to expert for executing engaging in-person events and a subject matter expert in modern marketing tools and services. You’ll be responsible for bringing together all elements to deliver events that perfectly align with Microsoft’s objectives and business challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Events Consultation and Planning: Lead project coordination, conduct dry runs, identify potential issues, and ensure strict compliance with Microsoft corporate guidelines.
- Events Preparation: Act as the Project Manager, orchestrating collaboration between VML, Microsoft stakeholders, and third-party vendors, while managing participant agendas and event assets.
- Events Execution and Post-Activities: Oversee the end-to-end management of in-person events (including crucial on-site presence!), serve as the Subject Matter Expert on event platforms, train marketers, and provide detailed reporting, budgeting insights, and performance analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Educate and advise internal and external partners on the Program Events agenda, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement of our services.
Who We're Looking For: We need a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual with:
- Demonstrable experience in marketing-related initiatives, with experience specifically in events management, project, or account management.
- Proven project management skills and a strong commitment to delivering on KPIs and critical deadlines.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft tools and software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of sharing often complex information in a structured and clear way.
- Comfort and confidence in dealing with diverse client and third-party stakeholders.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and activities, with excellent prioritisation skills.
