Work Schedule: 3rd Shift: 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM
Work Hours: 30+ hours/week
Pay: $22.00-25.00 per hour based on experience
Shift Differential: $0.50

This role is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and emergency medical readiness of the facility during the 3rd shift. This position supervises all 3rd shift security personnel (EMTs) and ensures that all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed to provide a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Security/EMT Supervisor:
- Supervise and support all 3rd shift security/EMT personnel.
- Enforce security and emergency protocols in alignment with organizational policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency medical situations.
- Respond promptly to incidents, conduct assessments, and provide or coordinate appropriate medical treatment.
- Coordinate with local emergency services (fire, police, EMS) when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the Security Manager regarding incidents, staffing, and operational concerns.
- Conduct shift briefings, maintain accurate incident and medical response reports, and ensure smooth transition between shifts.
- Participate in regular training and ensure team readiness for emergency response scenarios.
- Monitor facility premises via internal and external patrols.
- Address and report any safety hazards or violations promptly.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); active and in good standing.
- Prior supervisory experience in security, emergency services, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-stress or emergency situations.
- Familiarity with relevant safety and security technology and systems.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Must be available to work 3rd shift hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
