Senior Reporting Analyst (Revenue Cycle Operations) Patient Financial Services- Corporate 42nd Street-Full-Time Days (Hybrid)
The Senior Reporting Analyst performs reporting and data analysis for revenue cycle leadership and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. In addition, oversees the development, monitoring and generation of reports related to all areas of the revenue cycle. May also act as liaison between PFS, Finance, IT and other departments as related to revenue cycle metrics, systems and results. Assist user with moderate to complex report in request. Provide guidance to his colleagues how to create, run reports and analyze data.
- Acts as a key data analyst for all of the revenue cycle, functioning as a master report writer and ensuring the integrity of the data provided are necessary for good decision making.
- Prepares and analyzes financial reports and statements to represent current and projected financial status.
- Maintains a detailed knowledge of currency of cores systems (Epic Clarity HB/PB, Epic) and all bolt-on software solution (MPV, Experian Claim Manager, FPSC/UHC) and any additional system as needed.
- Participate as lead resource in internal and external meetings to help explain data or which data are relevant for business need.
- Assists with the summarization, recording and reporting of financial transactions related to financial reporting, accounts receivable and financial reporting (internal).
- Work on more than one project at a time and so must constantly reevaluate their priorities and deadlines.
- Gain an understanding of the organization’s business processes relevant to the project’s goals.
- Document processes to help refine the problem the project is trying to solve; documentation almost always involves diagrams modeling how work is done.
- Collaborates with PFS management, department administrators and billing manager in relationship-building and works to achieve a high degree of client satisfaction.
- Performs analysis to identify reimbursement trends, as well as address specific revenue cycle question.
- Monitors financial and operational performance of Health System, hospital, practices and individual payers as needed.
- Participate in various PFS projects and handles specific reporting/analysis initiatives as the project lead.

Education
- Bachelor?s degree in finance/business-related field -OR- an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated competency in data analysis and problem
solving in a healthcare environment. - Knowledge of Epic Clarity HB data model highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills in report writing and reporting tools required, such as Oracle, SQL, Crystal, Business Objects or other reporting tools.
Certification
- Epic Cogito Revenue Data Model HB/PB certification highly desirable.
