About the job
The Core Products team is composed of Product Managers who partner through squads with Engineering Managers, DevOps, Product Marketing Managers, Technical Writers and Product Designers to design, build, deploy, and maintain the products within Scalewayâs Core ecosystem. Core products include Billing, Payment, Account and Organization Management, IAM, Secrets manager and general Console experience. They are used by all of our clients and all the Product teams at Scaleway.
The products we build aim to facilitate our clients' lives by providing them with intuitive and simple cloud services so that our customers can focus on their own high-value activities: building software and services!Â
Scaleway also aims to be a sustainable cloud provider helping companies to reduce their emissions and by that providing transparent and trustworthy environmental metrics.
You will play a key role in building the environmental footprint calculator for Scalewayâs clients. You will report to your Head of Product Management as part of Scalewayâs Product Management department.Â
Because of your strategic position within the team as a PM, you will be the "go-to" person for all product-related concerns, both internally and externally. You will be in direct contact with developers, Hardware / Operations team, Marketing teams, Sales teams, Support teams, and customers on a daily basis!

Responsibilities
- Define, build, and maintain the product roadmap of the future environmental footprint calculator. The objective is to help our clients to measure and improve their footprint providing them metrics and insights ;
- Collaborate with an external service provider for the methodological framework ;
- Makes sure the squad understands the roadmap and embodies it through engaging communications ;
- Define key metrics to assess the product's health, analyze feature performances, and generate insights ;
- Understand our users and collect continuous feedback about their current uses and needs, as well as product competition. Documenting this knowledge is very important. The PMs should have a very clear picture of their target customers and buyers, and should be able to tell their stories to anyone in the company ;
- Work closely with Engineers and Technical Writers to come up with the best solutions to address our usersâ pain points ;
- Follow up on iterations and make sure they deliver real value to end users, synch with other teams to address functional dependencies;
- Continuously engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and feed the global product roadmap ;
- Showcase the products internally through regular internal training sessions, roadmap presentations, demos, etc.
- Participate in the PM guild to improve processes, workflows, and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educated to degree level and/or a recognised professional qualification in an Environmental Science subject or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in Digital Project management and/or Product management
- Previous experience on environmental products is a plus?
- Proven success in managing cross functional projectsÂ
- Proficiency in oral and written English and French languages
- Willingness to collaborate with others
