The Manager, Pharmacy Product Development, will be responsible for executing our pharmacy product strategy as it relates to the digital experience and creating simplicity for our patients to manage their prescriptions and overall health. The ideal candidate thrives in gray space and can adapt quickly to changing priorities, while helping others navigate uncertainty.

You will be an instrumental member of a high-performing team focused on developing and scaling high-impact products and services aimed at improving the CVS Health customer and colleague experience. You will play an integral role in enhancing the digital experience by enabling seamless navigation of pharmacy across different channels.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives (between Digital, IT, Pharmacy Operations, Legal, etc.) with a strong sense of ownership, acting as a project manager to drive execution and ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Be agile and dive into products that are in different phases of the product development lifecycle to support continued execution of initiatives
  • Design and implement processes and systems for scaled implementation of successful pilots and track progress against key milestones, including senior leadership readouts and program value reporting
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across business units, tailoring communication as appropriate to the audience and exercising the ability to impact and influence to drive innovation
  • Conduct analyses (e.g. root cause investigations, problem solving), articulating conclusions and making recommendations to leadership concisely in a variety of formats
  • Act as an enterprise athlete, flexing across different workstreams and priorities to support the broader organizational goals
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking and a willingness to challenge the status quo to improve processes, products, and customer outcomes
  • Develop business cases informed by qualitative and quantitative insights, create then execute test-and-learn opportunities designed to validate assumptions and demonstrate value in scaling an opportunity with a customer-first mindset

Regardless of location, the hours of operation for this position are 9am – 5pm EST Monday-Friday

This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. with the ability to work remotely or Hybrid in a CVS Corporate Hub if you reside within 25 miles of a Hub location. The amount of travel will vary depending on business needs but could be up to 5% of the time.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience within product management, strategy, operations, consulting, retail pharmacy, or a similar field within a highly regulated industry
  • Strong organizational and work planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently and influence decision making
  • Results-oriented; possess ability to identify, analyze and solve practical problems; adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines
  • Independent, curious, and eager to tackle a wide variety of problems and able to quickly develop deep knowledge and understanding of new domains
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of time for meetings, events, etc.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience speaking and presenting in group environments and with senior leaders
  • Experience in influencing without authority
  • Advanced degree preferred (e.g., PharmD, MBA)

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
