Job Description

As a Security Professional Access Control Retail Full-Time in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and daily events.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
