Recreation Manager - Monroe - Full time/Exempt - Starting annual salary $77,000 (depending on experience) - The area's highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate environment in a state-of-the-art-community - The Recreation Manager will design and manage the day-to-day activities to ensure that activities programs are in accordance with all state mandatory and advisory regulations, in collaboration with the recreation team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.A./B.S., in Recreation Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies, Music Therapy, Psychology, or related field required. 
• Certification by the National Certification Council of Activities Professionals (NCCAP) as an Activities Director (ADC), or Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred.
• Minimum of two years activity implementation experience with geriatric population required, including experience with dementia required.
• Minimum of one-year therapeutic activity implementation preferred.
• Supervisory experience (staff and/or volunteers) required.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) w/Passenger Endorsement required within six months of employment.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season.
