First National Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Advisory Program Manager to oversee our Investment Division! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as a financial investment advisor, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an extraordinary customer experience.
The Financial Advisory Program Manager leads the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our First National Advisor's Program. Through own expertise and the work of a team, this role plays a pivotal part in providing comprehensive guidance to clients while ensuring the Investment Division’s success and growth. This role builds and maintains client bases, keeps current client portfolios up-to-date, and works closely with other lines of business (LOB) partners to build a portfolio of new clients on an on-going basis.

What will you be doing in this role?
- Executes the directives of the Chief Revenue Officer (CREVO) and others members of management. Collaborates with the CREVO to develop and implement strategic plans for the operational infrastructure of the Investments department including but not limited to processes and personnel design to accommodate planned growth and key corporate objectives.
- Organizes, directs, and controls activities relating to Investments departmental functions. This includes accomplishment of efficient daily processing of requests, efficient system output distribution, and delivery of extraordinary customer service. Also provides council to others within the organization regarding First National Advisor’s Program concerns and/or issues.
- Supports a competent staff capable of meeting departmental objectives. This activity includes salary administration, performance appraisals, career development, and assistance to subordinates in problem resolution. Performs all functions of personnel management of department employees.
- Through own expertise and the work of the Investments team, provides comprehensive financial guidance to clients which includes developing financial forecasting models, tax-advantaged strategies, multi-year cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial control recommendations. Manages risk to minimize financial loss while operating within regulatory and internal audit guidelines.
- Achieves both individual and team production and growth goals around client relationships and Assets Under Management, as well as referrals to other line of business (LOB) partners.
- Demonstrates a commitment to First National Bank Values and Customer Service Standards in every interaction with internal and external customers. Incorporates the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by being a positive example. Represents First National Bank in the marketplace and promoting good relationships with all constituencies.
Requirements
What will you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent industry related work experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) or more years of investment sales experience required, preferably in a bank environment. Proven history of production and clean compliance record expected.
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in management of human capital.
- Minimum of ten years of operational management experience in a financial environment, preferably related to Investment operations and customer service.
- Extensive knowledge of wealth management, investment, banking, credit and fiduciary solutions. Strong knowledge of investments, taxes, insurance, retirement plans, and their relationship to estate planning.
- Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 and a Life and Health license required.
- Reputation for excellence in customer service. Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively and have positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple engagements and competing priorities. Ability to set, pursue, and attain achievable goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Must show strong initiative and work quickly and accurately. Excellent analytical skills with particular attention to detail
- Ability to travel daily to generate business and/or meet with clients within given territory. Some flexibility to work outside of normal
