Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant/Associate Director of Creative Content assists the Director of Creative Content and Brand Advancement content with the day-to-day duties of the unit. This position will provide the creative content to support the entire external efforts of the athletics department. This position will focus on producing creative content – primarily through, but not limited to, photography, video, and graphic design – that promotes EKU student-athletes, coaches, and teams, and helps further the message and the brand of the EKU athletics department. Through direction of the of the creative content unit, this position will work heavily on the video strategy and ensure the production of high-quality video and other visual content for EKU athletics. This position is expected to attend most EKU home athletic events, as well as, traveling to capture important content on the road.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: One year of related work experience is required.

Job Duties:

  • 40% - Photograph/Video EKU athletic home and away events and edit photos for use on website and social media. - (Essential)
  • 30% - Use photo editing software to create eye-catching graphics for all sports for use on website and social media and create large-scale graphic design print projects for facility and locker room enhancement. - (Essential)
  • 25% - Shoot video on a DSLR camera and use that footage to produce engaging videos, including but not limited to intro “hype” videos and game recap videos. Expected to shoot, edit, and produce feature videos that tell the stories of EKU student-athletes, coaches. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
